Interested in Living in Landmark by Hillwood?

Landmark is a 3,200-acre master-planned community rising on the southern edge of Denton, just off I-35W and minutes from AllianceTexas. It is named for the land itself. Pilot Knob, a hill that has guided travelers across North Texas for generations, sits at its center, and the ridges around it anchor an 1,100-acre green ecosystem of parks, trails, and open space that the neighborhoods are built around rather than on top of.

Developed by Hillwood Communities, the 2025 Developer of the Year, Landmark will eventually hold 6,200 single-family homes alongside shops, restaurants, and offices. It is a long build, and that is worth understanding before you buy. Below is what is known today, pulled straight from the developer's own materials, so you can judge it with clear eyes.

The Land

Built around the hills, not over them.

The thing that actually sets Landmark apart is topography. North Texas is famously flat, and Landmark is not. The trail system runs 35 miles through roughly 200 feet of elevation change, with routes that range from paved and stroller-friendly to genuinely rugged.

Pilot Knob and the surrounding rises, called The Knobs, are preserved as the community's centerpiece rather than graded away for lots. A 300-acre Park and Entertainment District is planned for events and live music, and a full-time Director of Nature and Wellness runs programming built around the land itself.

Do I need my own agent to buy at Landmark?

The sales representative in a builder's model home works for the builder, not for you. Most builders ask that your agent accompany you on your first visit, so register with Sara before you tour.
